Quick, Fast, Sorry.

Sorry I haven't updated my blog for a while. Caleb and I don't have Internet...well we never did. We just had wireless and were able to jump off our neighbors. Anyway, I think they finally caught us and decided to blocked us. Yes! Blocked us!! How rude huh? And not to mention they blocked us a few days before my online classes started!! Jerks! Ha.
Anyway, I called Qwest and they will be setting up our Internet this coming Tuesday! I'm so excited! I have much to blog about! I have lots of pictures of Daisy 1st Birthday party and I got a new hair cut, and OH Yeah....I turned 21 YESTERDAY! ...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! heehee

Anyway, so sorry!! I will try to keep up as much as I can while also taking on a full load of school this semester! Wish me luck!!

I student-teach in a year!! Yay!

The date works Diane! I really didn't change anything. Try posting again from your computer, though I don't know why that would matter. Love ya, Liz

Recipe HELP!

We decided it was time to try something new. So we went out and bought our first Pork Tenderloin. I love pork tenderloin so I thought I should try and find an easy recipe that I could actually make myself. ANYWAY if any of you know a good recipe for it please let me know. And I need really good instructions...none of this a little here and a little there stuff.

Also if anyone in my family knows the recipe for Brown Rice that would be great too!

Our New Set Up

Here are just a few pictures of the new furniture and set up of our rooms. Not much has changed but I totally loooove our front room! Every time I walk by it I just have to look in. I was telling Caleb last night that it kind of makes me feel like we are a little bit out of that poor college stage (even though we are still totally poor)! Haha... Anyway I like them both a lot!! We watched our first movie last night and because I wasn't use to watching TV so high up on the wall I had to lay down. But it was still fun and exciting to think this nice piece of furniture is ours!! Yes!! (Thanks Chuck and Diane again!)
Also, this thing is sooo nice because it hides away all of Calebs toys (video games, Wii, Guitar Hero, etc.)and it even holds all of Daisy toys in one cabinet. However, it's not the best thing for DVD's. We thought for sure we would be able to fit the DVDs in the drawers but they don't fit! Sooooo, if any of you have seen or know where we can get a shelf thingy for lots of DVDs and that has doors on it let us know! Because yesterday was the best!! This thing hides away everything from Daisy and she hasn't figured out how to open it so I didn't have to do as much yelling or cleaning up!! It was waaay nice! Now if I can just find a DVD case and make Caleb happy and still keep me happy that would be great!! Let me know if you have any ideas!

P.s. I just got Breaking Dawn yesterday...except it might take me forever to read with Daisy and School starting soon. But wish me luck!

Happy Birthday Caleb!!

Happy 25th Birthday Caleb!!! (as of yesterday)

This year for Caleb’s birthday we didn’t do much other than go to church and have church meetings. AND all Caleb wanted for his birthday was two CPA exam review books to help him past his tests later this month. Caleb also loves BBQ’s so I thought I would cut up chicken, red bell peppers, onions, and pine apple to grill. He really liked that idea…but of course he had to cook it. Haha. We then like every Sunday sat down and watched a movie. We watch Batman Returns that way we will be up to date when we finally go see the new one. I also decided we should have a cake with candles…but because I can’t bake for the life of me…he had to make that too. Haha…Too bad. :0) Caleb also thought it would be nice to call his parents and invite them over for cake and ice cream. They came but most of their attention was one Daisy. Poor Caleb. No worries though, she IS cute.

Well, a while back my sister-in-law Diane called me and asked if we wanted this TV stand that use to be at my parents place in Provo. Because it is Caleb and I and everything we own is passed down from someone else, I couldn’t help but say, “Yes! We will take.” Well, my brother Chuck called earlier this weekend and said that he was coming through on Sunday and will be bringing the stand. He also asked us if we wanted a computer desk. I told Caleb we might not have room but he said, "Yes!"

ANYWAY… Chuck showed up late last night to move these stands into our house. HA!!! To my surprise they are huge!!! …. Well, after taking off doors to get both stands in and thinking we were all done Chuck said, “hold on I’ve got one more.” I was just thinking Great were else are we going to put this stuff? To our surprise Chuck walked in with his old TV. Which is an older TV BUT much bigger than ours AND it’s free!!! Yes!! Score!!! Thanks Chuck and Diane!

Point of this story is …Caleb had a fun birthday overall and got a lot more than we thought he would for his birthday! :0)

We Love you Caleb!! Happy Birthday!!

My Little Baby's Growing Up... :0(

Next Spring Caleb and I will be going on a trip with my parents. To get ready for that get away ALONE …we have been told that we need to work on leaving Daisy with others more often and over night. That way she can get use to being okay with us not around. So this last weekend while in Vegas visiting my family my older sister Liz decided she would take Daisy for the night. It was already late that night so she said it would be easy. So as her and others were pushing me to run upstairs and hurry and pack Daisy's bag… I couldn’t help but think… Nice! No Daisy during church tomorrow!… I now I am a terrible Mom but come on… it would be nice to actually listen to a lesson again. :0) When I finally got down stairs with Daisy’s bag in hand Caleb had already had her car seat loaded. Wow! Liz was really willing to take her… Scaaary! HEY! Not because I didn’t trust Liz, just because I have never ever had a night away from my sweet little girl. I know she's almost a year and the poor girl has never had a night away from her Mommy!

As we closed the van door and said our goodbyes I started feeling all sad. LUCKILY Liz’s husband Jess decided to peel-out when they took off! That made me laugh…a little. Ha :0)
You would think that not having a kid for the night we would go out and do something fun… but nope not us boring kids. We just got some Taco Bell and sat and watched a movie while being attacked by ants. We also went to bed early and didn’t wake up once during the night!! Yes!!

As soon as church was over the next day we hurried to pack our things, eat a huge turkey lunch and then head out to pick up our baby!!! Yay!!! Caleb and I were even fighting over who got to hold her first!!! …I WON!! Yes.!!!

Here are a few pictures I stole from Liz to show off Daisy’s first sleepover with her cousin Clair:

Isn’t she just the CUTEST!! Ohhh how I missed her SO MUCH!!

I Love my Sweet Baby Daisy!!! Thanks again Liz and Jess!!!
