A couple of weeks ago Caleb got a call from a state president. However, this particular state president is not in our state. When we figured that out, I just knew Caleb was going to get a calling. But what? …Well, he got called to be the 2nd counseler of the Singles 22nd Ward!! Yep that’s it! I know how exciting …right!? …..But wait! That means the Singles ward is our NEW ward. Awww!! Darn it!! I really liked our married ward too!!
Okay so here was our thought process:
Because I had a calling in our married ward (and I liked/loooooved it) I was going to stay and attend ‘that’ ward. That way we could still have friends that were in our same situation (married with kids). Caleb would then attend the singles ward and every now and then we would go to each other’s wards. Haha. However, I also wanted to attend the ‘other’ ward to be there for Caleb and to be the ‘happily-married-with kid’ example ‘they’ (state president/bishop) wanted/wants us to be.
ANYWAY… the whole thing was really complicating for me. Both bishops’s kept asking me what my plan was and what I wanted to do. Whether I wanted to keep my calling in my old ward or get released and get a calling in the new ward to get more involved with the singles. ---This is about the time I turned to my ‘All Knowing Mommy.’ Before I even finished telling her my situation she said, “Diane, at least Caleb has a time limit (one year). Think of the women whose husbands are called to be prophets. Right now you need to make sacrifices for him and stand by him and be an example. Plus, you don’t want to be a single sister going to a married ward.”---With that said. I called my home bishop and let him know I was going to be supporting Caleb and going with him. To my surprise my bishop quickly said, “GOOD! That’s where you NEED to be! This is not just Caleb’s calling…it’s both of yours. You guys need to be examples to those singles and show them how much fun it is to be married. Don’t be afraid to be all lovey-dovey and make sure you kiss often, hold hands, and hug every chance you get!”---Now with THAT said… I am really going to try my hardest to be positive about this. And even though I am going to lose my calling and totally miss my ward AND be the only one probably in the whole singles building with a screaming kid…Suuuure I will be happy and always keep a smile on my face! …haha.. Oh gosh… wish me luck!! I really am going to try. I promise! We just better have some cool singles in our ward, That’s all I have to say!

New Carseat!!
Wednesday night we went out and brought Daisy a new carseat. She was way to big for her other one and we thought she might like facing forward. Her first time to ride in her new carseat was that night. It was dark and it was her first time facing forward. She kept looking at us like something was wrong. It was funny. We cheered her on but she was still out of it. Thursday was Pioneer Day!! When we were heading up to Caleb parents house during the day, Daisy got to try out her new car seat again. This time she totally LOVED IT and didn't want us to take her out!!! See for yourself....
Daisy helped her Dad pack up her old carseat for her future brothers and sisters. She was sad but at the same time still excited for her new carseat!!!

I've Been Tagged!...
My best friend, Andrea tagged me to share 10 interesting things about myself. Umm…So I guess here are some I came up with…
1.I enjoy watching movies with my husband, Caleb. We watch at least one day, along with a large bowl of ice cream, cereal, or homemade popcorn. My favorite movies are action with a touch of comedy. Right now my favorite is Hancock.
2.I have always wanted to be in a play. I have only had 4 theater classes and I enjoyed them all every much. Two of my teachers have asked how long I have been in theater. Many times when I tell them, they are shocked. I love to be in character and on stage and show my fellow classmates that I am not just the shy girl in the back row. It’s really funny because I love ‘yelling’ roles. Most of my classmates don’t know I yelled with my sisters growing up on a daily basis. :0)
3.Although I love being on stage and in character, I HATE to give TALKS! I rather be in a play or teach a lesson than give a talk. I think teaching lessons are much easier than just talking for 10 minutes straight. I like feed back during my lessons and I love to tell stories and hear stories that relate to the topic!
4.I begged my mom to let me take piano lessons when I was in the 4th grade. I loved to practice and still do. Although for having piano lessons from the 4th grade to my senior year of high school I am still not as good as I should be. I have my two favorite keys that I like to play in and that is about all I can play, only because I won’t practice the other keys. :0/ My bad…
5.I have always loved the game volleyball since I can remember. I use to always watch my brothers and sisters play. So when I was in high school I also played. I loved it until my teammates were stupid and always blamed their mistakes on anyone else that was around them. Anyway… it’s a long story but I still love to play, IF it’s with people who actually play just for fun and don’t point out every mistake others make. ‘Cause I promise they probably already know they made the mistake before someone else decides to tell them.
6.I have always loved to sing but never had voice lessons so I don’t think I am that great. But I really do enjoy it and I love to hear how pieces come together in the end. However, I usually act like I don’t care to sing or like to sing when my sisters ask me to because I know that singing is more of their known talents than mine.
7.People often ask me how many kids I want to have. I use to say my relief society answer, which was “as many as the Lord will bless me with.” But when Caleb and I were dating he told me he wanted to have 8. I quickly said “heck no!” But honestly since I have had Daisy and enjoy the stages of her life so much I really do want 8! I know! I am crazy!! But I love having a big family and I think she will when she is older too!!
8.When I was in elementary I was in special Ed classes because I couldn’t read or spell. I had an IEP up until I was in high school. I never used it because I didn’t want my friends to know I was different. In elementary I use to get D’s and F’s but when we moved to our new house Dad told all of us that we needed to get better grades. So I took the challenge and did. I also took it upon myself to read 5-6th grade books at night to help improve my reading. I also worked on my reading by IM-ing my friends. I didn’t realize it at the time but now I see that it also helped with my spelling.
9.Up until my junior year of high school I didn’t think any of my brothers or sisters went to college. I guess I thought that because my parents didn’t talk much about it. It was my brother Eric who I was working for at the time that laughed at me and told me I was wrong! That’s when he and my sister-in-law Kellie both pushed me to hurry and sign up for college. Thanks to both of them for helping me see the light and getting me started!!
10.During my special ed-retard days I remember my teacher in 4th grade teaching my class about fractions. I remember running out of the classroom crying because I didn’t understand why we were talking about pies and pizzas during our math time. I just didn’t get it. When I worked for Eric he had said something like “Yeah Diane, like 2/3’s of the time.” He quickly saw the look I gave him that I didn’t understand what 2/3’s was. He laughed while yelling at our other brother Kevin to come and hear… “Haha. Kevin, Diane is in her senior year of high school and doesn’t understand fractions!” They both laughed for a bit throwing out all different fractions to see if I knew what they meant. I didn’t of course and almost began to cry. That was when Eric sat down and started teaching me my fractions. He also taught me how to quickly add numbers in my head. Thanks to Eric I looove fractions and I feel so smart when I use them to explain how much of something is left!!
Well… I guess these are my interesting facts about myself. I could’ve just said stuff like anything Disney and I am a very big freak in cleaning and organizing…. But I figured these were more interesting facts about myself that many people are sometimes shocked to hear.
**I would like to TAG and hear more interesting facts about Robin, Erin, Tiffany, Kellie, Liz and anyone else who would like to dish it out. :0)

The Story of our life...
This last weekend was very busy. So many things to do…
Thursday morning I helped my ‘buddy’ Jamie out by watching her daughter Addie for a few hours while she went home and packed up more boxes for her move. :0(I know I am so sad!! This is the weekend that she leaves me!!! Aww… I’m going to cry… BUT, anyway while I watched the kids I of course had to take lots of pictures for my BLOG!!! Daisy of course showed off her new banana chairs and showed Addie how she has learned to smile when the little sliver camera comes out…. Haha… isn’t she cute?
So Addie thought she would smile too…. “Cheese!”
After a while and getting bored with the banana chairs they moved on to Daisy toys. I was lucky to get a picture of both of them smiling when really they were fighting over the little car…. But hey, who needs to know they are nothing but cute, sweet little girls? Right?
Friday Caleb went over around 7:30 in the morning to help Jamie and her husband Tyler carry boxes up and down stairs to help them with their move. He helped them until noon and then was so tired he decided to stay home from work to play with me! Yes!! I was excited!! …. Of course when Caleb and I were in our room making the bed we heard Daisy screaming from her room. Of course we knew exactly what kind of scream it was…. (Daisy has this thing where she thinks that if her eyes can see threw small spaces… she can fit threw them…. getting her head and body stuck)…. So I ran into her room to see what she had got her head stuck in between this time. When I found her I couldn’t help but crack up laughing. Daisy had been climbing all over her car seat and I guess somehow got turned upside down. She couldn’t move nor could she mess with gravity. Oh the poor little girl. I didn’t help her either because I really wanted to see how she would get herself out of this mess. Ha ha…
On Saturday Caleb and I thought it would be fun to invite a few friends over for a BBQ and a movie. So we called everyone up and told them to bring their own meat and anything else they want to share with the group. Caleb called up his brother to borrow a projector, and then talked to his parents about their surround sound, as we went and picked up some white sheets from Wal-Mart for our screen. The night turned out great! We ate lots and lots of food along with ice cream and homemade popcorn. When it started to get dark around 9:30pm we set up The Italian Job and got comfortable…
… for all of 15 minutes into the movie when it started to sprinkle!! (Leave it to wonderful UTARD weather to ruin our evening). So, packed up and moved everything inside, figuring with our luck it would pour of we stayed outside. Darn!! Huh!?
Anyway, The night was still a blast and we even got to play Wii on the big screen after our movie and then after church the next day watch more movies and play Guitar Hero!!
Jamie and Tyler stayed with us Saturday night and left Sunday after Church. I was so sad to see Jamie leave. Even when we were outside saying our good-byes it was pouring down rain! It was just like the movies!! Such a sad ending!! But, no worries Jamie promises she will get a Blog when she moves it! Then you can all meet my 'buddy'!! Yay!!
* We will miss you Tyler, Jamie and Addie!! We love you guys!! Come back and visit soon!!

Banana Chairs...
Back in May after graduation Caleb and I went out and bought some banana chairs. We saw them a while back during the school year and thought they were to comfortable to pass up. So we bought them. It took eight weeks for them to come in. As you can tell Daisy loves them. They are now "her" chairs and will climb on anyone that is sitting on them.
Shakespeare... July 14, 2008
I grew up not ever having a family pet. I thought it was because my parents didn't like them. However, come to find out years later... it was because my older brothers and sisters used to have all kinds of pets from dogs to snakes and even chickens. Mom says that she use to come home and catch her boys jumping the chicks on the trampoline. That was I guess when they decided 'no more pets'...making us younger kids believe that pets would never ever be allowed in the Mohler house. Along with also making us younger ones not even care to be around the stinking little things.
But of course, when I married Caleb he had a pet. Yep, a dog named Shakespeare. Luckily where we live won't allow us to have pets. (Yes!) And luckily while Caleb was on his mission his dog learned to love his Mom more. (Thank goodness!) Meaning Mom keeps the dog and we don't! (Wonderful!)
HOWEVER! Since Caleb was Shakespeares second favorite person, we were his parents first choice to leave Shakespeare with when they needed to leave town. Caleb of Course loved having his childhood dog stay with us for weeks at a time. But me? No! I fought with him every time I heard the phone ring and Caleb say, "Of course Mom! We will be here! We would love to take him!" .... Leading me into my same arguements I have every time
"He sheds!"
"He smells!"
"He poops and Pees and its still on his butt!"
"He's always watching my every move!"
"He follows me everywhere...even pushes the door open to watch me pee!"
"He has to sleep in our room?"
"No, I won't have sex with you.... his watching!"
"His hair is everywhere! Your daughter crawls here!"
"Can't someone else watch him?"
...hoping to win THIS fight....."And we're not even suppose to have pets here!"
Thats when Caleb rolls his eyes and say "fine." Soon followed by my "fine he can stay here."
Anyway...a couple of months ago Shakespeare started getting real sick...I think they said he had canser? He had surgery but it still came back. Thats when I got a call from Caleb's mom on Saturday saying they were going to put him down Monday. (Yesterday). I was to be the one to tell Caleb. (Great! Now I am really the bad guy) Caleb actually dealt with it better than I thought he would. I think he knew it was time for Shakespeare to go.
Shakespeare was put down July 14, 2008 at 2:00pm. Caleb and his Dad started digging a whole in their backyard at 2:40pm. They had Shakespeare in a brown box wrapped in a towel. They opened it one last time so that Caleb and his Mom could say their goodbyes. I stood back and watched and of course remember all the times that I said he smelt and pushed him away because I didn't want to smell him or get hair on me. Most of all I tried to remember that other than the gross things about animals in general, Shakespeare was a good dog and most of all a good dog to Caleb and Caleb Loved him!

The BESTEST Holiday EVER!!
I can't even begin to tell people how much I love the 4th of July! It is my favorite holiday and has been ever since I can remember! I love the fireworks, I love how everyone everywhere you go is wearing red, white, or blue (even if they don't mean too). Most of all everyone is so nice!! It's the one time of the year where people aren't pushing you around in stores saying they had that first, like Christmas. And, everyone is outside putting on BBQ's, playing in pools, going to parades, going to parks to throw a ball around, setting off fireworks, and just flat out eating all day and enjoying the weather! I tell ya it's the best!! Waaaay better than Christmas!!
This year so far has been my favorite!! I have always loved going to my older sisters Debbie park where the fireworks are pretty much landing right on your head. But those 4th of July's have always started when the day is pretty much over. However, NOT this year!! This year Liz and Stephen and their families were both in town. We even started the day out nice and early! First we ate breakfast along with lots of pictures, then we headed to the Main Street Parade, also with lots of pictures. At the parade it was nice to see everyone with their hands over their hearts when the flag came down the street! (I'm telling you!! What a holiday!! No one needed to tell anyone to do it. We just did it on our own and out of respect for our country!) We then play at the park where Caleb and Jess had a rock climbing race. Of course...Jess own. Sorry Caleb. :0( We then headed back to our nice cold house where we served everyone ice cream and played Wii. Liz's kids tried out our new pool... but Mason said, "Man, that pools COLD!" Stephen and Kellie headed to a birthday party, Liz and Jess headed to a BBQ, while Caleb and I went to meet his family at the park for our BBQ. We met up later that night to watch fireworks at the airport. We brought sparklers for the kids until the fireworks started. Caleb played his only patriotic song over and over out of his car while the fireworks went off, just so I could fully enjoy my favorite Holiday!! When we left the firework show there was a ton of traffic like any show. But, once again because of this one day of the year we didn't need any cops telling us to take turns so that traffic could move smoothly!! It's that awesome!?
When we got home we were all so tired that we decided to wait until the next night to set off all of our own fireworks. That too was cool! I lite the first one, not realizing it was a large flashing light that blind us all. (Wait, I think I lite two at once! Scary!!) After my freak out, I let Caleb and Jess take over!! They had tons of fun trying to get the lighters to work and put together a good show for the rest of us. They didn't let us down when they raced together to light five fireworks at the end just so we could have a great finale!!
Once again!! The 4th of July is the bestEST bestEST holiday ever!!!! Yay!! I hope next year is even better!!! Maybe Liz and Jess will come again? Along with more family so we can have even more fun and our own BBQ with swimming!!!

New Play Date?
When Caleb and I first got married we decided that we didn't want to attend a college university ward. We thought there would be too many clicks and we wouldn't get along with anyone. A year after attending a family ward the members were still asking us to stand up and introduce ourselves since they 'thought' we were new to the ward. (Let me remind you, this was a ward where the members were newly married or nearly dead.) :) Anyway, Caleb and I gave up with that ward and decided to "try" the college university wards. BUT before we did we came across the Ensign for January '08. There was an article in it called Making Every Ward Your Family (I think) ....Anyway... We decided to take the challenge of the article and actually put ourselves out there to meet people. And we did! However, that week at church they had combined wards for the New Year holiday ...So everyone we had met the week before was from the other ward.
Well, the point of this story is that I love our new ward!! It is the best and the members are so welcoming! It really almost makes me wish we had attended university wards sooner. But at the same time...attending the family ward really makes us appreciate this ward a lot more!

HOWEVER! Attending a university ward where couples are deciding what, when, and where they will go for their future careers SUCKS! I met a freaken awesome girl in this ward named Jamie. She has a little girl a bit older than Daisy, but the two of them get along great, along with Jamie and I! But of course, now that the two of us are really close and talk about the things that all mommy's and wives talk about, such as kids and sex. She is now moving in two weeks!! One of which she will not be in town! I am so mad!! I liked her too!! I freakin' really wanted to keep playing with her! She's taught me so much!! For example, I can't cook for the life of me! Believe me. I have "tired." Over and over again. But Jamie walked me step through step on how to make a roast, and I did It! (for Fathers Day!) . She even taught me how to make a book for Caleb, and just calls me and makes me feel important!Ahhh... This just sucks!!
Last month we even went to Vegas together, a week or so ago we took our kids out back to swim, and this morning she showed me that our public library readers to babies and toodlers in the morning! It was fun too and we could've made it a fun activity to do with are kids every morning. ....But Nooooo!! She has to go and move. Now who am I going to play Mommy's with?

All About us...
Last weekend Caleb and I went to Provo for a baby blessing. We decided to crash Liz’s party at the townhouse where she was there alone with no family…and especially no kids! Of course doing that we sucked into her signing us up for this Blogspot thing. I’ve heard a couple of my sister-in-laws talk about it but I thought it was just for old stay-at-home mommy’s that had nothing better to do. So…whatever…. Liz signed us up and since I’m not in school right now and I don’t feel like cleaning AND Daisy is asleep, why not check it out and see how it works…. Um lets see…
Caleb and I get along great. We almost never fight and when we do its often over family or who's way is better at packing. Which of course it’s my way!
Um…living in a small town there is not too much to do but only hope that family drops by to visit. So to entertain us I go to school while Caleb works. While he is at work... I do homework, clean house, wash clothes, change diapers, take out trash, dust, water lawn, pay bills, and try to come up with something for dinner. Along with showering Daisy and I, and constantly picking up after her. Mostly because I am a freak! Everything has to have a place and it can only be out of place for so long! So, even though I only give Daisy a few toys at a time to play with, I am still picking them up every half hour just so she can dump them back out, so we can play "Mommy pick-up" all over again!
When Caleb finally comes home from work I walk him step-by-step through my whole day, including how many times I picked up Daisy's toys. We then eat a microwave dinner while setting in front of the TV and watching a movie (along with a large bowl of homemade popcorn). OR after dinner we go to the wonderful 'WAL-MART' in town and spend money like we have it!
As our nights come to an end I am once again followed in to the bedroom being told "it's been too long." :0)
The Next Morning it starts all over again...
…So, How’d I do for my opening BLOG?
